RP phases probably lag if they get over 100-120 people, such as ZOS events.Īnother fix small scale / arena, or even further depleting zergs / limited grouping in some campaigns. Its not just the "zerg" in an area, its the number of people in that ONE PHASE. If that isn't implemented the huge numbers in a campaign will remain high, causing lag. The next fix they can probably do is small instances of battles with objectives, or "Battle Grounds" as most of us know. Deplete XP/AP that zergs gain when in groups of 10 or more. Close campaigns to allow more server space for those activeĦ. Cut down lock population from 750+ to 500, to 250, etc.Ģ. They attempted to fix this numerous ways.ġ. The only fix is to separate big groups, this was their first MMO, and one of the first games to allow an ENTIRE "world zone" for PVP (Its condensed into one phase) Cyrodiil lag is due to the large numbers in one entire phase.

The head of PVP once said "We cannot break Cyrodiil into separate phases." Why? That would require pretty much rebuilding the game.
